Another con - time frame

Sometimes you end up paying for a warranty that might not last long, but there's no other option.

Take for instance (ALTHOUGH THIS IS FREE) - Microsoft's xbox 360. My boyfriend got his xbox 360 2 years ago on launch day. It lasted a year. The warranty on it was only for a year -- before Microsoft decided on an extended 3 year warranty. So yea, sometime around maybe April, it crashed. We ended up getting another one (from Costco - lifetime warranty, yo!) so that he could play Halo 3 Beta. And finally, in July, Microsoft announces their extended warranty from 1 year to 3 years. We just sold the dead 360 to someone else.

So you see, fortunately that warranty was extended. What if it hadn't? And this warranty was free, anyway... So maybe it's not really important...

BUT if you had to pay to insure it for only a year, that would suck if it died shortly after a year. Wouldn't it?

I just emailed the support people for my zenstone that die on me. i gave them my serial number and they say they could replace a new one for me. They asked me to fill out my name, address delivery, description of the zenstone such as color n stuff, my phone number, and other crap. Does this mean i'll be getting a new one mailed to me? I REALLY HOPE I DO GET A NEW ONE. I'm going crazy without a music device. :(

That should mean they are mailing a new one. Why else would they ask for your delivery address? After you filled it out, you should have asked them if they were going to mail a new one for you. How long have you had your zenstone? Usually you only have a certain amount of time to replace it with a new one. (like 1 year, 2 years, etc)

Well you did mail their yours back, right? Usually they would replace it for you.

My friend had Apple Care for his macbook and the cd drive wasn't working 6 months later. I mean his macbook still was covered for a year without apple care, but anyways they replace his macbook with a new one. ohmy.gif I wish I could replace mines lol. I have so many scratches. :P Ah well..

^ That doesn't even look like an address. I don't see any address (that looks like an address, at least) in anything that you posted. i think you should email them again to clarify. But then again the websute says europe.creative.com? So you're mailing to Europe? Que?
