I'm not ashamed, nor am I proud. It's nice to know it was with someone I cared about, instead of a random guy off the street. We'd known each other for awhile, but I will say that the relationship was a little forced; we both knew trying was a mistake, but it all turned out well.
I associate my virtue with love; I couldn't of made the choice I did if I didn't care.
Adults scare teenagers with sex to prevent pre-marriage pregnancy. Little do they know that it just makes us curious to try; few people are really in love when they have their first sexual encounter.
By the way, I think if you can't say the word 'sex' openly, you shouldn't be having it; just a thought.
my friend got knocked up at 16/17 but she secretly wanted a kid because she was sleeping with any guy and NEVER using a condom. she wanted a crutch in life. pissed me off.
i'm turning 20 and i'm still not all the way normal with talking about it to my dad. i think he knows so, idk

My parents don't know, I think. I hope they don't. It's not something I'm prepared to talk about, especially since I was always asked to wait.
That's what really weighs on my conscience.

Nah she didn't mean it like "GO HAVE LOTS OF SEX BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED" but more like "Once youre older and think youve found the person you want to be with, it's okay to have sex because it's an important part of a relationship and if you don't, and you find out too late that your husband totally sucks, you're not going to be happy and will most likely end up cheating on him."
haha yeah so I'm waiting til I'm older, just not til marriage.

That would be me.
I've been seeing my other half now for over 18 months and we've never had sex.
I intend to marry this guy, and he I. I know he's with me for all the right reasons and even if he did suck - so what? We have the rest of our lives to have a giggle and try different things together. In essence, we'd help each other learn the art of lovemaking.
I would never ditch someone who loves me so much, when alls it takes is practise to make perfect.
There seems to be a lot of talk about dumping a guy if he 'sucks', but isn't sex a, ahem, 'team effort'?

yea some gift, giving unexpierience smex to your husband, who he in turn might not be a virgin and might have had ahhhmazing smex some previous girlfreinds.

Yeah, right. I don't want your experiences.
I'm still confused as to the perception that all virgins will be crap in bed forever and after. It's a learning curve; there is absolutely no rush to become sexually active just for the sheer hell of saying you're better than someone else is or will be. We are all going to become sexually active adults at some point in our lives; a head start makes no difference and I'm sure it will be good fun catching up with the rest of you.
As to my husband, I hope he will be my boyfriend. We're both virgins and we're both agreed - we'll lose it to each other on our wedding night. How is that going to be any worse than a sexually precocious couple that have lost it to different partners? It's not, it's far better in my eyes.

Hmm, this is something really strange for me. I'm still a virgin, and I plan to keep my virginity for quite a while now. It throws me off how a lot of you have lost it at such a young age (in my opinion-- I'm not here as a critic for when you should lose it)
I'm really curious about when to have it. Haha,I mean, I KNOW I was a mistake (:

I lost mine just a couple months ago, I'm 17. I was planning on waiting until marriage but sometimes things don't go as planned. I don't regret anything with life so I dealt with having it stolen from me. At first I was so upset, but now as it's been a couple months, I'm fine. I wish it didn't happen that way, but I'm okay with it now.

^ hmm yea idk about that one, rumors tend to follow you for a long time in high school, I know some girls that people think are sluts or have been around and that's not the case at all.
As for me, I lost it when I was 14 to a 16 year old girl, and I've been pretty steadily sexually active with girlfriends since than, I've never had a one night stand.
Don't regret it, and contrary to popular belief, I didn't turn into a slut.

I don't think the girls that I've had sex with are sluts now either or anything like that, we meant and still mean a lot to each other and we decided to have a physical relationship to further that love and get to know each other on a more intimate level, I see nothing wrong with it.
