Just curious if anyone is watching and or watched or possibly even seen Legally Blonde the Musical? Its playing on MTV right now, which I found pretty cool, since its still just in New York right now. I question whether or not they will lose money by showing it on TV, (impressive quality for a stage musical) and I wonder how much MTV paid them to air it.

I was watching parts of it yesterday and this morning. I haven't seen the whole thing, but from what I've seen it's pretty good.

i haven't even heard of this.
i should go watch.

I saw this.

It's actually REALLY GOOD! Seriously. I watched it because there was nothing on and it's really interesting and good. It's so funny too. Their voices are really amazing throughout the whole musical. Definitely way better than HSM even though that was a movie not a live broadway.

There only showing this once though.
I think the reason they aired this to promote the musical so people can actually see it live.

i wanted tickets for this, but i found out it wasn't in LA.

and then my control freak parents locked out MTV and MTV2 so when I found out this was on, I couldn't watch it. mad.gif

The movie without singing is better.

When I first heard that they were making a musical out of it I was sort of ehh..but it turned out better than I thought it would.

It looks like shit to me, honestly. I know I shouldn't judge it before I see it, but I have to question why anyone would make a musical of Legally Blonde.
arcanum
I haven't seen anything about it, but one of my friends watched it and said it was really funny. shrug.gif I doubt I'll see it though.
karmakiller
Lol, I didn't even know that they made a musical of it.
angelrevelation
I tried watching it. After about two minutes had to change channels. I thought it was horrible pinch.gif Maybe it was just the parts that I happened to catch? The beginning of the exercise one, and the suit-buying scene?

Ohhh I saw that live in San Francisco! So good D:

^ Really? In San Francisco? I'm like near there and I bet it was pretty good. On TV it was not bad, I find it hilarious. lol.

Aren't they doing it in LA too as well as NY? o.O

laugh.gif I got to agree with Michelle on this one. I mean the movie had some like laughs and stuff but I just could never see it as a musical and see why someone would want to go see it o_O

I completely agreed with you, until I saw it. Something about Broadway productions just carry this professional touch to them, that makes anything on Broadway worth watching. It would have won Best Broadway Musical, but Spring Awakening was also up and swept the entire board. (As it should, it was VERY deserving)
