So about 12 more days until Serj Tankian's Elect The Dead comes out, if you don't know already he is the lead singer for my all time favorite band System of a Down. i've listened to the 3 songs he's put on his MySpace and I'd have to say that Elect The Dead will be an awesome CD, I think it'll be worth the money for the Deluxe Edition because it comes with 4 extra tracks and a 48 page booklet, hopefully a DVD included?

Me and my friend Patrick use to get in arguments about how the hell I could hate such a "good" band.

I don't know, I just don't think it would be that good, of course my personal opinion.

Everyone has their own music taste, you can't force music upon people. It's just like movie-taste, or even with food, if someone doesn't like something then get over it and keep enjoying it yourself.

Lol, I kinda figured that not many people in CB are into SOAD. I have the Serj song on my profile, though. It's weird, because it still kinda sounds like SOAD. At least, his first single does. It sounds like old SOAD when Serj was the only guy singing... before that little squirrel started laying down vocals. I have to give him props for not totally sucking, like most ppl do after they leave their band.

i know, he does sound like SOAD still, but the new song he put up on his MySpace, Saving Us, it's pretty good, especially around the end. And I think it's a sort of, kind of Love song. Not something I'd expect from Serj.

Yeah, I haven't heard that one. I have dialup so Myspace music players never load. I think I might buy his album, though. I must admit when I first heard he was doing his own thing I was like "Geez, this is gonna suck. Why didn't he just stay in the band." haha.

Because I've been listening to this for a while now. "Sky is Over" reminds me of Nighmare Before Christmas, for some reason. "Lie Lie Lie" is kinda catchy... She brokeher little bonesssss.... lol
