You guys should lower the minimum post for a official member. I really want to become a official member again and I don't think 3500 is really that necessary. It should be around 1500 or 2000 or something like that, maybe 2100 . . . Okay look, you need at least 5 post a day in order to become a official member right? If you have abut 1800 posts all together, that's like posting at least 5 times a day for an entire year. Okay fine, maybe not 1500 posts but I think posting for about a year should be good enough to become a official member, don't you?

You're not missing anything, really. They've started dumping all the threads they don't feel like dealing with in there.

I think that it's the hardest for members who come back after being away from the site for a while to become an offical member, like your situation. If it's someone who's newer to the site, 5PPD usually isn't a hard goal to reach. Just keep posting around, you'll meet the requirement before you know it!
