But...where to start?

Since i've never actually been in a serious CS clan, I have no idea where to start. First..we need some members. Then, a website (who wants to make a website? )

And then..some leagues?

Maybe a mIRC channel?

Does anyone have any suggestions/want to join/want to make things happen?

Except the problem is i dont play 1.6
When it came out it has alot of problems,
left hand only, really laggy and i heard hthat the shield sucks, plus i cant play 1.6 by using steam cuz i had to give me cd key 2 my uncle!!

But i swear im a decent player, i can help make this one of the best clans ever!!

im willing to play.. i dun think Mirc works .. it think thats for finding a clan.. i think wat a clan is you have your own name, then u go into clan tournaments, and thats mostly it.. but you need to be good to enter tournaments otherwise you'll lose money..lol

1.6 is more cleaner, and neater. You can pick weapons faster and easier... etc...

Omg, You people suck. 1.5 is the best, and 1.6 has a shit load of lag. Did you notice 1.6 is still beta? AND did you realize that the weapon statistics are way off? I'll join if we play 1.5. I can create a website, and I have played in CAL and in OGL before. My computer is also on 24-7, so I may be able to create a server.

I agree. Steam has so many problems and 1.6 lags. The shield is also extremely cheap. But if you guys choose to play on 1.6, I'll go install it.

Eh...it's most likely gonna be 1.6 because that's what alot of leagues go with....and alot of the general cs populace.

im going to try atleast to make a CB spraypaint logo using the original cs menu (i gotta get it from my desktop cuz i use the newest fusion pack on the comp im gonna play cs on) so its gonna replace counter-strike with like createblog, ill try but someone wacoon anyone plz help im terrible at this Stuff!

CS 1.6 users: Download to desktop. Do not overwrite the tempdecal.wad in the cstrike folder. Open cstrike folder, delete "tempdecal.wad" and "custom.hpk." Add the tempdecal.wad from your desktop to cstrike folder. Make it read-only so it doesn't reset when you access options.

Oh if anyone is interested, I am admin at one of the servers, 1337 CS. Our server IP is 207.210.241.193:27015. We usually play fy_pool_day, but you can nominate other maps too.

I agree they killed 1.6 , steam looks cool and all but wow it takes me so long to join 1 server and on top of that i dont get to play much cuz i get kicked to much and the 1.6 knife sucks!

those with lag issues in 1.6, just type in these commands in console.

cl_cmdrate 101
ex_interp 0.01
these are the offical cpl configs, your lagtime along with connection time should decrease.
fps_max 101 also helps too.
