my parents are really strict so i cant even hang out with my guy friends without saying to my parents something like "im meeting my best friend at the movies" but i actually meet my friends there.

And as for advice. Dear, your so young. I had the same problem as you when I was your age. Honestly I just got over it. I lived life and stayed shy and eventually I met this really great guy and now I'm a social butterfly
Just be yourself and eventually you'll find a guy that likes you for you. Also considering your parents have rules for you not to date wait it out. Meet a few guys and become pretty good friends with them and stuff. Talk to the guys your interested in online if your to shy to talk to them in person. It can open up some doors.

I say...gather some confidence. There's also no rush to date, so just be who you want to be. Eventually you'll become more comfortable with guys whether it be through friends or whatever If you want to be noticed, don't sit in the background all the time. I understand you said that you're shy, but hey, if you stand in the shadows all the time you'll rarely be seen.

be confident and outgoing girl! my parents are strict til im a freshmen year i get to hang with guys, but even if they're strict i still hang with my galfriends and guyfriends, you just have to have confidence,and belief in yourself and just be yourself *n.n* guys these days dont go only for looks its also for personalities that counts *n.n*
