I looved this picture whenever I saw it. I think it was a billboard and it said "Declare Yourself." Not totally sure. I did it last year for my Drawing and Painting III class. I really thought I was going to be terrible.



I took this picture while it was behind glass, which explains the glare and dot on her nose. It's slightly crooked too. I'm sorry about that. It's in chalk pastels.

Overall, it's a great piece for soft pastel.

The face doesn't have enough depth; it looks illustrated. I'm not really sure if you're going for realism, though. The eyes are completely flat; eyes are spheres! So make sure you shade them that way.

I understand. I had a difficult time with the eyes -- one of the things I'd definitely change. But thanks. =]
