I know this doesn't have anything to do with the cast, but I'm really disappointed that John Williams wasn't signed on to doing the soundtrack. He composed some really great pieces for the movie. That's what I'm dissappointed about.

WHAT OMG I KNEW SOMETHING of the fact of boa cause when i looke dup katie leung pictures for the cast of harry potter i saw more BOA pictures then Katie. and one had a picture of katie but words with BOA on it? like umm okay i thought like katie was her step sister or something lol.
i can't believe BOA auditioned LMAO. for some reason i think thats funny i dont know why. and she didnt get the part makes it somewhat amusing. i mean i love BOA and everything but yeah her playing cho would seem odd. Katie looks fine for the part. im actually happy she got it. Because like many people say Katie is ugly, i dont think she really is. Other than Fleur and Krum, the rest of the cast has to be British. Those two don't count because they're French and Bulgarian in the book. So of course they're going to cast French and Bulgarian actors.

I don't know if I'm taking back what I said but I guess she is a pretty cute girl. It's just , I guess, pretty amazing what some makeup can do. LOL. I guess it all just depends on whether she does the role justice or not because we could bash her looks all we want but if she has talent then she's good with me

So, there are exceptions. It isn't an ALL British cast. And also, people are able to fake British accents. I'm sure not everyone in the movie is actually British.

I think Katie looks more the role in the pictures that were posted later. She really is pretty, in my opinion.

I'm disappointed by the casting for this movie. I'm still going to go see it though. It looks pretty tight, for real. I love the book so it's a no brainer....still, I'm really disappointed that Fleur isn't prettier. Fleur is supposed to be part veela. That means, very enchanting and beautiful. Someone that would make guys oogle unintentionally. The actress they cast for Fleur, well, she's plain. Nothing enchanting about her at all. And she's like 21, which isn't quite right, since they made sure to cast the rest of the actors around the ages of the characters they would be playing....Madame Maxime is disappointing as well. It's pretty clear, to me at least, that Madame is supposed to be a giant, like Hagrid. Madame is supposed to be quite large....but I think that overall, they did a good job of casting.

Another rumor I've heard is about Harry Potter 5. I've heard some talk of Kelly Osbourne playing Tonks in 5. I hope not, but it could happen...any thoughts on that??

Hmm, well there's a new trailer out (http://movies.aol.com/movie_exclusive_harr...ter_goblet_clip) where you can at least see the actors. It's pretty interesting, and makes me want to see the movie even more.

And can Cho Chang me a Thai or Hmong name anyway? I always thought that was Chinese. I'm not really familiar with the language so I'm not sure if that could be a name in those languages.

So if Cho Chang really was a Chinese name, and if the casters of Harry Potter really make such a big deal about Fleur being French, Viktor being Bulgarian and Oliver to be Scottish, then wouldn't they cast a Chinese girl as Cho, too? Not a Thai-American and Hmong girl?
