melissa asked me to make this since she cant make topics
OKAY so we had to read The French Lieutenant's Woman for summer reading. And of course, NO ONE in my class read it. And there's no sparknotes or whatever on it. And I watched part of the movie but its confusing. By the way, we're in HONORS English -.-.
So I was wondering… if any of you know where to start.
I already have a character I'll be writing about…it is going to be…Charles or Sarah.
Like some pointers on each or one of [charles or sarah] so I can actually choose one that I'll know the most.
Here's my prompt…:
Writers often highlight the values of a culture or a society by using characters who are alienated from that culture or society because of gender, race, class, or creed. In The French Lieutenant's Woman show how a character's alienation reveals the surrounding society's assumptions and moral values.
Don't assume I'm asking you to do my homework.
Just asking to give some information, or anything to help me start my essay out.
Like what to include, examples.
Due date: in a few days. Aka Friday. Plz helps me.
