No, Voxtrot is a real band (for lack of a better term). And they're quite good. However, I recommend googling for their actual website over the myspace.

They were supposed to open for the Arctic Monkeys when they came to Vancouver, but they canceled last minute... some crappy local band opened instead. =(

What's funny is that my classmate who apparently LOVES Voxtrot had absolutely no idea the band playing was in fact not her beloved band, and she even told me how amazing Voxtrot was live after the concert ended. Can you say POSER??

LOL that's great. I've had that happen to me a couple times. I've talked to a few couple that said soandso were good when they played here and I'll ask them when and they won't know when they played.
