My least favorite was probably Eclipse, because of how stupid Bella and Jacob were being. But I loved everything else about it.

New Moon was my favorite actually, despite the sadness. It's the book with the most "true" emotion, IMO. Plus the cool European and Volturi stuff.
:O Finally, I've found someone who shares the same idea as me!
New Moon brings out the most emotion...from Bella, and from the reader too. TT_TT I cried during the whole book because the pain Bella felt was conveyed in a way that made it feel so real that it affected me as well. So I was mourning with Bella through the whole book.
Anyways,
I LOVE THE COVER. To me, that just says that Bella's gonna get changed. The pawn could represent her past life (pawns are weak, easy to defeat, and it's red which could symbolize HER BLOOD?!). I think the queen represents her as a vampire because it's white, one of the most powerful pieces on the chessboard, and strong. Also, the book's description says "Twilight tempted the imagination. New Moon made readers thirsty for more. Eclipse turned the saga into a worldwide phenomenon. And now, the book that everyone has been waiting for....
Breaking Dawn, the final book in the #1 bestselling Twilight Saga,
will take your breath away."
Uhh, TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY? *cough*vampire*cough*
There's a whole bunch of little things that I've seen that hint at it. And besides, there's no way she CAN'T be a vampire because otherwise, hordes of fangirls will send Stephenie Meyer hate mail. And most likely commit suicide.
Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, I love RPattz a.k.a. Spunk Ransom. XD

Dude, I agree with you so much on that. XD
But I didn't feel that way until I read Eclipse. Because that just made me even more pissed off at Jacob's forwardness, and Bella's selfishness for wanting him to stay, which just hurt everyone in the end, especially Edward.
Damn Bella.
But I did grieve with her during New Moon because I honestly pitied her.
It's just that Eclipse changed that.

You know, I was thinking about that too! I just got done reading Eclipse for like.. the 100th time and I was wondering how Breaking Dawn is going to be. Bella HAS to become a vampire, it just doesn't make sense for her not to be. But.. what if Meyer doesn't change her? What if.. with Jacob running away (I read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn in the middle of the night so sorry for the spoilers, if any) triggers something in Bella and it just becomes as emotionally chaotic in Eclipse? I know that can't happen.. it's impossible for that to happen, still I keep thinking about it so someone please shoot me.
But I too get the feeling that Bella will be turned at the last page of the book and that's that. No other descriptions as to what happened next just a - and he bit me scenario, END.

murderwaltz, you can use spoiler tags. =)
I think Bella will definitely be changed. There's no way she can't. All the plot development that's happened will go to waste if she doesn't become a vampire, not to mention the hate mail Meyer will receive if Bella remains human. And I think that it will happen in the last few chapters, not the last page.. Meyer will also get hate mail if we're left hanging like that.

Another thing I wanted to clear up about the books in general-

I actually figured it out last night as I was re-reading Twilight:
"Alice doesn't remember her human life at all. And she doesn't know who created her. She awoke alone. Whoever made her walked away, and none of us understand why, or how, he could. If she hadn't had that other sense, if she hadn't seen Jasper and Carlisle and known she would someday become one of us, she probably would have turned into a total savage." (Twilight, pg. 291).

Jun 14 2008, 10:28 PM
err, well it doesn't say who the vamp who turned her IS, but my main question was why Jasper has less control than Alice even though they joined Carlisle at the same time... and the reason is because she knew she was going to be a vegetarian, so she started like that right away, whereas Jasper went crazy with the vampire war for awhile.
