I used to think Emily Browning was a perfect Bella...but now not so much. I like Ellen Page.

i think if they do the movie they should find someone new to be edward...
like, nobody already famous. personally, i don't think any of the actors have what it takes to be him...they'll ruin the whole thing just with one actor. just wait.

According to Stephenie’s website the director of Twilight recently visited Forks to scout locations for the film. There were articles written about the visit in the Forks Forum and the Peninsula Daily News.

The movie and Stephenie also appear on the Internet Movie Database. Those with the professional version of the site can see a bit more including a rumor that Emily Browning is up for the part of Bella. Keep in mind just a rumor, there are many instances of these rumors not being founded. A recent example would be that Ralph Fines and Eowan MCGreggor were to have played Sirius Black and Remus Lupin in the Prisoner of Azkaban. Info on the IMDB on any film, especially a film in the development stage, is highly subject to change.

We have no supporting evidence yet that there is a casting notice out yet from Summit Films, but we have heard rumor. We are trying to get details and we will report facts as soon as we have them. We don’t want to feed the rumor mill here. As soon as we have what we consider accurate, reliable information on casting and filming we will post it.

I just heard from Stephenie’s publicist and the originally planned Ireland signing fell through. I wanted to get the word out ASAP in case their was anyone who would then choose to travel to the UK.

Also, in regards to movie scripts, casting calls, etc. We have nothing to suggest that at this time there will be an open "cattle call" (meaning everyone and his/her best friend with no experience, union affiliation, or agent) for the Twilight movie. If we have anything that will suggest such an opportunity, we will shout it from the roof tops. As of right now, however, we have nothing credible and official.

i think i fit the description, but i don't think she's looking for someone with no acting background which is quite unfortunate. there are so many good actors that just have never acted before.
