I'm not in love with Jacob or anything first off. But I do kind of like him a little better after Eclipse. Maybe "like" isn't the right word though because he really pissed me off with the forced kiss. lol I feel kind of bad for him. He just plays too many games. But then Edward bugs me sometimes because he is always there.

The whole "OMG EDWARD" thing really freaks me out though so I think I'll hang out in this thread.

I respect Jacob a little more after Breaking Dawn but not that much. :shakes head:

I know it is really really hard to get over the pedo thoughts, but the whole concept isn't that he loves or wants her sexually or romantically right now. They're just soulmates. Though, that may get complicated when she's physically mature at six years old. Age wise she'll still be a child, but obviously mentally she will be way way above your average 1st grader.

And yeah, I loved Kate and Garrett. Too bad they didn't get more attention.

Okay, okay, okay. So why are there so many haters? That's besides the point. I don't like vampires one bit, but I don't hate on them. I hate Bella. And nobody seems to get that. It's always "poor bella" this and "poor bella" that. Everybody thinks its okay for her to constantly hurt everybody (especially Jacob) around her. I also don't like her little Demon Spawn baby...thing. I guess I should be happy that Jake's happy. But whatever. And Bella is so possesive. Ugh. But this isn't about bella, this a Jacob Black forum :D I do like Jacob & all of the werewolves better than the vampires, but thats just me. You all are entitled to your opinions. Seth's my personal favorite. And sadly, Neither Tyler or Steven is going to play jacob. But I'm sure you know that already. And I read alot about people not liking that Jacob forced a kiss on Bella. (Which I'm still not sure why he did that, she's nothing special) But seriouslly, she loves Jacob. And she also loves Edward...what?!. Pretty skanky to me. I just think that Jacob is unselfish, kind, and understanding, and he was there when Edward wasn't. He would do anything for Bella (still don't like that fact, but can't change it). I do like Jacob better after BD. Not much, but, better. He gave us a completely different perspective, which I found to be interesting. Confusing, but interesting nevertheless.

I was kind of expecting Jacob and Leah to get together even though I knew that it wouldn't happen after reading Eclipse. I'm glad that they become friends, though. Leah's a pretty cool person after all.


Haha, same here. I got used to the idea before the end of BD, but it's still odd to think of them together.

+ I thought the same about Jacob & Leah, too. The part in BD when Leah joins Jacob made me laugh. The tension & awkwardness between Leah and Jacob was entertaining


Yeah, I've become used to Jacob & Renesmee but it's weird to think about it. Like..will Renesmee ever know that Jacob kissed his mother? Weird.

I feel like right now, Jacob has a crush on Bella. I think both Bella and Jacob know that if in any other situation, they would be a good romantic couple. Jacob cares about Bella and really likes her but the main reason why he doesn't get along with Edward (supernatural aside) is that he thinks Edward is a bad factor in Bella's life. He sees Edward as this cold and distant lover in Bella's life and he feels she deserves someone who doesn't leave her alone even for noble reasons.

Didn't Jacob and Bella have a conversation about how he likes her but he hasn't imprinted on her, which means, really Bella is just a first love type of thing?

I think it was in ... Eclipse? New Moon? I thought that was a really sweet conversation because Jacob says along that lines that even though he didn't imprinted on her, he still really cares about her and wants the best.

Aw I love Jacob. I have a hard time deciding between the happy-go-lucky guy who you can always have a good time and just fool around with. Also, he is romantic..

But in a different way then Edward. Edward is passionate, romantic, and so many more things.

They are both dramatic too.

In a group of friends that can barely fit in two lunch tables in the cafeteria I am one of about like four people that actually read all the Twilight books. But of course, everyone went to see the movie. And everyone loves Edward. And they all hate Jacob.

But I don't get why. I mean seriously, to hate Jacob after the movie makes no sense whatsoever. He didn't do anything during it! Like seriously

Also, I don't really get what's so great about Edward. I mean sure he's like sweet and everything but I think he's sort of annoying. He's so perfect. I find it highly disturbing that his like only visible flaw is that he cares for Bella too much. I mean even his flaw is perfect. He cares too much.

Jacob on the other hand is more - dare I say it - human. He is obviously flawed. He shows his emotions rather clearly. He does what he needs to to get what he wants. I love him for it. He's an actual character. With actual character development. You can see him progress. In all honestly I think he's the only major character that Stephenie Meyer got right. Forget about Bella and Edward. Jacob is way better than both of them.

Plus I am seriously sick of all those "I want to La Push Jacob off a cliff" flairs on facebook. They're really annoying

I hope you're basing your love for Jacob Black on the novels and not just the movie. Apart from the last book, Jacob is awesome. Total cutie in the movie too, don't get me wrong. The film just doesn't do him justice other than to really showcase his very bright teeth.
