I just thought I'd recommend a book for all of you avid readers out there. It's called Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli and is easily the best book I have ever read. It is classified as Teen Fiction but the book is brilliant. It's a novel with a lesson (and a character) that lasts a lifetime.
Has anyone else here read the book?
I'd love to hear what you all thought

I remember reading that book. I thought it was a mediocre book, and not all that great. Practically all novels are written to convey some lesson or moral, but I didn't think this one stood out for me. =)

Yeah, I've read the book. The sequel is finally out after seven years. It's called Love, Stargirl but I haven't had the chance to read it yet.
I would love to have a Stargirl in my life. She sounds great.

Me, too.
I've tried reading this book countless times, but I have never gotten into as much as others seem to. >_< I don't know... I think just I dislike Jerry Spinelli's writing style.

I read
love, stargirl. I like it much more better than stargirl, yes, it was boring for me too. But I found the sequel rather interesting and somewhat cute.

I read it when I was like...11. I don't remember a single thing about the book, but I did remember enjoying it.
