Im tying to figure out how to create the type of header found on

how do they pull this off? what type of image do i have to make in PS, that has no background...

and what might the code be?!!?

You probably won't be able to duplicate that exactly, but deffinately look into some tutorials on making banners/headers. I have a huge list of livejournal banner tutorials saved on AOL, so I'll edit that link in a little later.

The Kanye West one just looked like text placed on a black background (to match the background of the rest of the image).
