i have my periods really regularilly every month for about a week but it always gets relly heavy it has come to a point where its leaking thru my geans and everything.

is that normal?

Some girls are just heavy bleeders. I don't mean to pry, but do you use tampons? They're a girls best friend, haha. You might just need to be using a better absorbency, but if it's something that's really interferring with your day-to-day life you might want to make an appointment with your doctor and they'll discuss your options. Talk to your mom and she might make you an appointment with your doctor or with her gynocologist. Don't worry, this isn't anything abnormal.

Try changing your pad/tampon more?

Any flow is regular... unless it's literally, actually SPEWING out. You're fine. You probably just need maximum protection: A super tampon (try using the sport ones from Playtex) and a regular pad (probably a petite / thin one by Always).

yeah gotta agree with everyone here. you're just a heavy bleeder. kinda sucks, but hey you gotta deal with it. just get some super tampons (and make sure you change them often to avoid toxic shock syndrome, which can kill you if you leave a tampon in overnight, let's say), or some overnight pads (they're longer and thicker) and just use them as normal day pads. just change it often. if you get worried, don't hesitate to visit a doctor who's an expert on this!!

Like everyone said, don't worry too much, just perhaps use the right protection for leaks, like using both a tampon and pad to really reduce the risk of that. Otherwise, if it really is more than you think normal, just go to your doctor.

i only use pads im only 14 so i dunno if i should start using the other thing yet

If you only use pads and youre that heavy I would suggest using overnight pads during the day. I have to use em during the day from time to time because my periods can be so heavy. I am sure I am not the only one here who has had to. I am sure we've all had to or will have to at some point.

There's nothing wrong with using tampons at the age of 14, as long as you feel comfortable.

I started using them at roughly that age, and nothing bad has happened to me yet, haha.

I also agree about using both...you just need to find something that works for you
