My dad told me about this last night. I would have thought there'd be a topic already...

This really upsets me. I don't know why it does, I've never met the man, but it bothers me quite a bit. I adore him.

I just saw this on E!News. It's pretty sad.

yeah i heard it last night too

apparently he tried cutting his wrist(s) and overdosed on pills.
but he's in stable condition.

then again it could happen to anybody
but what's upsetting is the fact that in front of the camera he seemed so happy and funny.
behind it; well..i guess not.

Unfortunately, many funny guys have personal issues (ie John Belushi, Chris Farley, John Candy, etc).

Hope he recovers and that the media will leave him the hell alone for a while.

I heard about this. From what I've seen it's not getting a ton of media coverage, just some news channels replaying old interviews with him and his brothers. Hopefully he gets some help.

A day or 2 ago, when I saw this on MTV.com, I was like holy ^&$%%^#. Owen Wilson is so funny and he's one of my favorite actors. I felt so bad for him and I hope he goes well. =X

I also heard that he has to drop on one of his movies.

I read it in the papers in England! GET BETTER! I love Owen!!

I couldn't believe this title when I first say it, but wow.

I felt horrible about it at first, but then I found out he'd been using cocaine and heroin for awhile apparently. Lessens my sympathy towards him, seeing as though it was only a matter of time.'Tis still a shame though.

this is really sad. what's even more sad is that the press cant seem to just leave him and his family alone. they're probably just contributing to his angst.

It sucks to do something like that and have the whole world know. That just has to be awkward. Like when people ask "how are you" it's no longer just making casual convo, they probably really want to know if he's doing okay.
