Is there a book that you truly think was more than enjoyable, but really changed and affected something in your life?

MAN, Death and the Maiden by Ariel Dorfman, even if it was super short, was intense. I'm stilll feeling this aftershock from reading it. oro.gif

I Have Lived A Thousand Years by Livia-Bitton Jackson

That book is intense. It made me feel sick when I was reading some of the chapters. It made me cry to (which isn't easy when it comes to books)

I think I've read that book. I agree, it was really intense at some parts. I felt terrible for the main character.
