Sad news to start this post off with...
I've been single my whole life so far.

The guys that I like just like me as a friend...

A new school year is almost here and I was wondering if I could get some tips or something on how to get a guy.
Jennifer
The way I see it,
Confidence is the key.

^ Please be nice.

What's the rush? Just be yourself. There isn't a real way to get a guy. Other than being confident in yourself. But I'm sure confidence is the answer to many of your questions. Confidence is sexy. _smile.gif

Like it was said before, just be yourself. If you're too focused on the fact that you're not getting anyone, then you're really not gonna get any guy. Don't focus on that but instead put your focus into other more important things, like your studies, and eventually guys will come to you.

Like everyone has mentioned, show CONFIDENCE & SELF ESTEEM to the guy when you're talking. Don't be slouching, stuttering or any other sign that makes you think you're too shy or something, when you talk on a daily basis. Talk about things that you BOTH have the same interest and eventually he might like you. I like a girl who has great self-esteem, personality, and looks at times.

Besides, it's best to wait for college since their will be a variety of guys you might like.

show him your booty. If u have one ...

yeah wait it out. be yourself, have confidence.

make a major physical change, like dye your hair or do your makeup differently. anything. it'll catch a guy's attentions, usually.
ReggieM
but she couuuld overdo it chaeun and that could be disastrous.

I did go shopping for clothes that are what I would not normally wear.

Thanks guys for the advice.
I'll keep it in mind.

i did a quick check of your profile and i think that um basically you're just about hideous.

It would just about be Mission Impossible IV.

hey hey, ugly people can get a boyfriend/girlfriend too, though it may surprise you.

just because someone is ugly doesn't mean they don't have feelings thumbsup.gif
joshpowell
You're not ugly :)

And I agree with what everybody else said, show confidence. This doesn't mean be cocky though!

Don't be afraid to ask the guy out :) I think the whole guys-have-to-take-the-first-step thing is stupid, especially since I'm kinda shy laugh.gif
JerzDevil
it ain't that hard. hit it and quit it. remember that. you dig?
jennyjenny
^ ........ when was the last time you ever "hit it", ya dig?
sheridan_whiteside
There is an incredible market for guys looking for girls into Star Wars, especially of the non-ugly variety. And don't just search in the ranks of the nerds, some nerdy guys will be closeted, so be sure to make the first move.

As a guy, i can help you.

We like girls who knows when to laugh, knows how to have fun with us, doesnt get upset so easily, doesnt become emotional, keeps bad drama out, attentions, and hi/goobye.

Funny. Very mean, but at the same time very funny.

Oh, btw, just as a tip, don't seem self-conscious. BE self-conscious to a certain degree, but let other people THINK you're just being natural.

This is going to sound very shallow, but stop dressing and calling yourself a goth. It makes you seem less approachable and less friendly. And like you said, it gives people the wrong impression of you.
