i cant even talk to my friends anymore. it signs me out wayy too much. its soo annoying. is there anything i can do to fix this problem ? i think it has something to do with the internet though.. not sure "/
Comptine

It's definitely your internet. What kind of internet do you have?
miszxjojo
i have internet explorer.
Comptine

No, I meant. Wireless? Cable? etc.
miszxjojo
oh that.. idontknow "/
i think i have wireless ? cuz when i go to control panels then network connections, it says 1394 connection, local area connection [those 2 are always disabled] and the enabled one is wireless network connection.

is that what you mean ?
Comptine

Yeah. When your AIM disconnects, can other internet applications work?
miszxjojo
yupp.
miszxjojo
well the internet works. but if you're talking about other instant messengers, aim is all i use =/
Comptine

My friends also had this problem. Their AIM would disconnect but their siblings could still surf the internet. I think it's a combination of a weak wireless signal and AIM's own problems.

Try using other versions of AIM (DeadAim etc). I heard they fixed the disconnect bug.

There are like other versions of AIM except it's created by another person/group/company/whatever. It works like it but has like different features. Search for them.
