The lining of it looks weird. The vector is good but looking at it, is very odd, especially the face cuz it's blurry looking or smeared? I don't know since I'm not an expert on vectors. Also, I just don't find gray a good color with the colors that you chose in the vector.
Other then that, it's nice and simple.

The images bg color dosen't match up with the body bg color.

like i know about the colors.
its probably cuhs yer using firefox. i'm using internet explorer and it works there.
hehe and like yea. like i said, its my first vector. so no worries. i'll just get better on it later on.
thanks for feed back guys :]

Got it from a thread. Should be helpful.

The other big difference is colors, but that could take up an entire website to explain. (In fact there are several websites dedicated to just that.) There are supposedly 256 websafe hexadecimal (ie: ffffff) colors that will work in any current version of any browser. The truth is there are probably only 214 after you consider every browser and OS.
The solution: use colors identified by name only, or use RGB (red, green, blue).
Examples:
body {background:Green;}
or
body {background:rgb (12, 00, 23);}

i experimented with it, but it didn't seem to work.
i used
CODE
body {background:rgb (149, 149, 149);}
so i put it back to my other one
CODE
body {background-color:959595;}

I like the vector/colors and the rounded corners on the content area. :) The image maps are nice too.

I don't know, It would look better if it was less faded and more clear and sharp but overall it's a good layout.

It doesn't look much like a vector. Like, i can't make out the layers AT ALL...
it just looks like you drew over her face with the skin color, and then drew lines for the wrinkles, then drew on the hair/other details...
and it all looks done with the paint tool...not the pen.

i did the hair with the pen tool.
added some black squiggles here and there with the paintbrush.
but like i didn't know how to do the face, so i just did watever

Vectors dont consist of paintbrush unless your talkin about pressure stroking. Somehow the lineart (or at least i think it's suppose to be) look so much like brushes. and her lips look soo.. LOL retarded? XD but beside the girl i like the bg although the circle outline does look a bit pixelated.

Yeah...that's definitely not a vector. Vectors are made with the pen tool and hundreds of layers (unless it's really simple).

Yeah that's what I was saying....vectors aren't suppose to be faded, they're suppose to be clear, clean and smooth. It doesen't look like an vector to me either.

yeah everyone has pretty much summed it up it's not a real vector, but hopefully you will learn how to do it soon
