how would you suggest getting my mom back in shape she wants to but makes excuses when its humid and hot out since she dosent like working out in the heat what do you suggest i do?

There's always indoor, air conditioned gyms she could go to.
Or just work out at home.
If it's too hot then it's understandable that she doesn't want to be running around in the heat.
Convince her.. if she really wants to get into shape then she'll do it.
Just get plenty water lol.

Haha my mom didn't start exercising until I convinced her to. She bought a yoga mat, some DVD's and now she does daily yoga in front of the TV. Not bad. Or she can start out with dumbbells (dont know how well she'll handle that) or just go running on the gym treadmills.

Make her take up swimming to get in shape! It cools you off and everything!

there are these leslie sansone tapes and DVDs that help people get the benefits of walking 1 mile, 2 miles, 3 miles, or 5 miles in the comfort of your home. my mom has a couple of the tapes and they're really good.
and there are dance tapes that are high energy and really make you feel like you got a great workout

have her rent/buy some excercising videos..
if you have DDR,, have her join in with you with a daily excercise!
she can always run in the morning or evening, when it isn't as hot..
