Well it relly depends on where they grew up in. I understand if they're a wannbe gangster and they just use the word to try to fit in. But if they really grew up in the "ghetto " ( and what i mean by that is they grew up with street violence, broken family, drugs, etc ) well i guess it gives them an excuse for acting the way they do. Anyone can say what they want. However, people need to realize that what they say can be offensive, rude, or ignorant.

I try not to use the words "black" or "white" because I find them offensive. First off, NOBODY HAS f**king BLACK SKIN, AND NOBODY HAS f**king WHITE SKIN! Everybody's skin is actually a varation of some sort of brown. While some has more pink, some is tan, some is dark, some is light, it's just SKIN. People shouldn't be judged by the color of their skin, nor their ethnicity.

It's like when people shout out the whole AZN PRYDE, or whatever. Instead, you should take pride in WHO YOU ARE instead of WHAT YOUR RACE IS. Yes, your race is indeed a part of who you are, but isn't there more to a person's identity than the color of his/her skin/race?

And being "ghetto." I understand that it's a "mentality" or how people were raised, but people seem to instead flaunt it as a style. I know very intelligent people who insist on butchering the English language with "dis" and "nuttin" and "aint."
