So, I work at Six Flags, right, and the past few (four) days I've been at a rollercoaster called Two Face. Good thing about Two Face is that it has a CD player. Bad thing about that is that the CDs we have are WACK. So of course, being at Six Flags, the music has to be what I call "Six Flags Friendly," i.e. no cursing or questionable material. Like I mean almost completely squeaky clean (even "Buy You A Drank" didn't pass my test because of the one line about "passionfruit and sex"). So, from the time I got off work until a few minutes ago, like SIX hours (holy shit), I sat down and compiled a mixtape so I don't go absolutely batshit insane (I mean honestly, who can listen to "Blue" by Eifel 65 eight times in a row?).

So, if you were doing the same thing I did, what songs would you choose?
Insurmountable
so it needs to be upbeat and like family friendly?

wow thats really hard.

Yeah, totally agree.
I'd listen to Blue hahaaha
I'm blue da ba di da ba di. Used to love that.

LOTS of old school Britney

Anything remotely bareable.

But uhm, I feel for ya. flowers.gif

That sounds so cool! I would love to have a job @ Six Flags but the nearest one is Vallejo, CA. Which is quite a couple hours drive.

I LOVE THAT SONG BACK IN THE DAYS. Blue - Eifel 65

Yeah, you could try pop singers years ago, but wouldn't you get tired of that? lolz.

Try R&B artists? Like Robin Thick, Enrique, 112, and others? lol.
Or.. Carrie Underwood? Lily Allen? I dunno. o.O

i would def say nothing cheesy like brittney...come on now.

the beatles would work for sho'. =)
um..and since they would use "blue"; which by the way is kind of suicidal..family oriented?...sure. _dry.gif
im sure they would use something like "someday" or "juicebox" by the strokes. yellowcard perhaps, 3 doors down, could go 'surf' with some dick dale & his del tones, appease the older crowd with buddy holly; if they are worried about persuasive lyrics and you would like some of the rap genre on that list use some of mase's newer music(i.e. 'welcome back').
modest mouse's song 'float on' would work, as well as 'starlight' by muse. have a little fun with the red hot chili peppers. hell you probably could use the beach boys..and panic at the disco. honestly there is endless amounts of music one could use. personally i laugh a lot of times at the songs i hear playing. if the guys upstairs want to use songs that appeal to the family, try using some disney if all else fails...after all whats more family than disney? happy.gif

CHRISTIAN ROCK BANDS ARE CLEAAAAAN! LOL okay i only know like two, but i didn't even know they were christian rock bands until people told me. Acceptance and Sanctus Real!

I find that alternative/rock have pretty clean material too, if you ever need the specifics, just let me know!

All I have to say is Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers. Go for the disney channel stars if you want a clean family fun kind of music. whistling.gif

batshit insane

You really have been working there too long. =p

I'd pick early Beatles toons. Or since it's Warner Brothers (right?), I'd play Batman theme music (I have the Batman Beyond soundtrack, for example). But only if that sort of thing was allowed.
