Well, I'm bi. I've known since I was about two feet tall. I came out in 8th grade to the general public and my parents. It's great. I love it.
All that really happened with my parents is my dad didn't believe me. He just doesn't believe that bisexuality exists. So he said I'm either a lesbian or I'm straight. He doesn't care which. But it still pisses me off that he thinks that I wouldn't know. I mean, yeah. A lot of girls are stupid and are bi one day and then straight the next or bi one day and then lesbian the next. But still.... I'm absolutely POSITIVE because I know that I can have sexual and emotional attractions to be genders. But it's more prominent in girls.
My mom was so chill about it. She actually went into a story about how when she was in high school she had a crush on her friend's sister. I thought that was funny. Sometimes I talk to her about girls if I need to get something off my chest. She's totally cool with listening and shit. It's great.
The school didn't really care. I mean, there are some homophobes here and there. But they don't really matter.

That's a funny story =] I can somewhat relate.

I'm bi. I've known since I was 9 years old and picked up my first porn magazine. Turned out to be lesbian porn. I also had a crush on my best friend at the time. We ended up dating not long after. She knew what being bi was, she was a few years older and knew more than I back then. lol I came out to the public when I was 12 in 6th grade. Then I came out to my family in 2005, and to my mom last year. My family always knew it but waited for me to say it on my own. (Use to look at lesbian porn online, didn't know how to delete the history back then lol) They're totally supportive though my aunt seems to still be in denial. ha She thinks I like girls for fun. SO NOT! I'm currently engaged to a guy, Matt. He's wonderful. He doesn't mind me dating women as long as I give him most of my attention...of course. haha
I talk to my aunt, uncle and also my mom about her. My aunt has tons of questions and has also helped me when Carey and I fight. And my mom, well, she has questions too but seems to just listen. Doesn't say too much lol

So yep, I'm out to the world and I love it! =D

Anyone seen V For Vendetta? The lesbian love story in that helped cut through some of my homophobia when I watched it. It's beautifully done.
