It's a novel set in around the 40's-50's about three girls in New York searching for the glamour life (well, except one). It goes through a long period to their lives, and the book is very well written. It's also touching, and it changed my perspective of the way Hollywood and other celebrities live.
So, have any of you read it? If so, discuss!
If you haven't, I would definitely pick it up as a summer read.
*Also, "dolls" are basically pills that the three girls eventually use and abuse.
