Well, it surely is blank alright. I don't think it should be so blank that there is no content. What's the point?

orange/goldenrod does not scream "blank" to me.
I think you could have had a much more minimal & visually-pleasing design: centered, using black/white/gray colors, a cleaner and less random logo. I could go on.
