i didn't use bbz because for some reason i thought it was too difficult.
::eyeroll::.

so i used some other random div generator, which turned out to be a jocked copy of bbz's, and for some reason it finally CLICKED so i'm all happy and excited that it's working-ish and everything.

but it covers up my ad space and i don't want to get into trouble.
the other post like mine is closed and the answer was PMed so i'm kinda s.o.l on that.

here's my myspace.
and this code goes in "interests":

p.s.
i was wondering if there was any way to move my stuff UP just a bit?
i'm not completely html illiterate, but i'm not ll snazzy to do div, hence the generator.

any help is greatly appreciated.
thank you!!

Wait, wait, wait. While it's good that you don't want to cover up MySpace ads, why would you intentionally use a jocked div? Unless I misunderstood your post.

I have the exact same problem. I used msmods.com because bbz didn't work. In the preview it showed the layout and the ad space. In reality the ad space is still covered. I have no idea how to combat this either...help much appreciated!! wacko.gif

Your myspace is set on private pinch.gif
Using generators really aren't the best ways to go about making layouts - they can do crazy things... like hiding the ad. So best way to avoid that is to code on your own.

She meant like....the div generator was a knock off or a copy of bbz's generator, but she actually tried that one and she understood how to make divs work afterwards.

Easier said than done though for a novice like myself; I haven't a clue where to start without a generator.

Heee. Thanks! (That's why I mentioned... in case I didn't understand the post. Early, lack of caffeine).

lol, same here...same here

yea i noticed it was set on private.
i thought i had taken it off.
but that doesn't matter.

& i did mean that the generator jocked bbz's generator.

& i also tried working the div link you posted last night and didn't get it to work for me, hence the generator, bc i'm incredibly ignorant apparently.

is there anyway to fix my codes or should i just try from scratch?
