Is it me or does everyone seem to like everyone these days? But then there's always "No, we're just close friends" or "I don't like him but I love him as a friend"
and it bothers me how everyone's gotten so comfortable to the point where it doesn't matter if you know the guy well at all, you're on him like you've never been with anyone else.
Maybe I'm just sad at the fact that I'm single and it's been a year. But am I right? Is it the same for anyone else too?
I'd like to know if there's a way to even be sure of how a guy feels about you anymore within all of this touchy, huggy, feely chaos going around.

I know PRECISELY where you're coming from
I can't give you an answer to these wuestions, but I'm letting you know you're not the only girl who's been single for a year and wonders, too.

I've been single for multiple years. Three to be exact.
But I am one of those people who confuse you.
I'm just naturally touchy with my close friends, and a lot of them happen to be guys.
I have this one really close guy friend whom I spend a lot of time with at school. Everybody always either asks whether we're going out, or just automatically assumes that we are. It's weird, and annoying, but we laugh at it.
These days, to show someone you like them, you really do have to do more than just bat your eyelashes.

What? Yes, I can tell. I mean... most "friends" don't hold hands or excessively flirt. It's still pretty obvious to me when two people are interested in each other. shrugs* Maybe that's just the people around me.

I think it's harder to tell if two people you happen to see in the hall way like each other because some people just flirt for fun (like me, hehe) and some people are serious. But as for myself I can always tell if a guy has interest in me.

Nah, its the same way here. I know when someone likes me, especially if its someone I usually dont talk to that much. They usually always come over to talk to me, give me a hug, touch my sholder, flirt, whatever.
Its usually hard for someone to predict if I like them though becuase I flirt with alot of guys.

Oh same here. But it's a different kind of touchy than how I am with my boyfriend. I don't know how to explain it. Plus, my best friend (aside from my boyfriend) is a guy, and people always used to tease us etc. But he's like a brother to me, and the thought of us being together is as bad as incest.

theres plenty of ways to tell...first most people dont even do ask the dude if he likes you, if hesitates and says no he might, if he looks at you and is all like giving you a funny look it means youor ugly and you not his type. hahaha

People are really touchy feely these days, and a lot of my friends just...do stuff with eachother when they don't really like eachother. So it's hard for me to tell with them. But they all know I don't do that so I can usually tell when someone likes me (no matter how few and far between they are).

I think that's just Interpersonal Attraction. You know there are so many instances wherein you think the person likes you or not. Most people tend to like their opposite sex coz of physical attractiveness, a kinship between people, or a similarity in nature between things or maybe coz of familiarity wherein the more often a person is seen by someone the more pleasing and likable that person appears to be.

the smart people are the ones who aren't touchy-feely mushy gushy lovey-dovey...and so on. we can't stop people from sleeping with their best friends, so just forget it. most of us are whores these days anyway.
