so ii just had mine
and the doctor tells me that iim healthy
but that' iim overweight...yeah, i know
ii was all like "what"??

then ii was like, should I loose weigth since iim
overweight, and he's like sorta, like 20, when the ideal weight
is like 50 away. Then he tells me 20 for my height
but idk..Im not sure, I want to look great, but I also want to be
healthy..I should probably go back and debate with him.

That's what happened to me. My doctor told me that i was overweight for my height. I'm 6'0 and weigh about 188, i told her that i'm not going to lose weight.

How come half of your I's are ii and the other half are I?
Sorry that really threw me off. I pay too much attention to detail. ermm.gif

Anyway, maybe he just wants you to lose twenty right now that way you won't obsess over it. Maybe just take it one step at a time. You can still be healthy being only twenty away. You don't need to be 50 lbs away to be healthy, 20 is good enough. But if you aren't comfortable losing only 20, then lose weight until you feel comfortable... as long as it is in a healthy way and you don't go overboard and loose too much weight.

You want the right info? Go see a nutritionist, not a Doc... Hopefully your health insurance covers it.

^ totally agree. and a personal trainer if you want to lose weight. haha maybe its just cause im a personal trainer's kid but I think they work better than your doc telling you to lose weight and trying to do it yourself.
