okay well when I went on a trip with my church to Boston we went to this cambodian/thai restaurant and at that time I was really dying for hunger and expected the food to be good but guess what? IT TASTED LIKE SHIT!!! I am never eating those food again. I'd rather stick with my nice korean dosheerak with rice, kimchi, and bbq. Eff that nasty shit. (No offense to cambodians and thai people here) Just expressing what I've experienced ... Seriously, it was gross. African Food is way better.

Some people naturaly cannot digest certain ingredients.

Well I'm not exactly sure if it was cambodian or thai food. It was mixture of both. The dishes I strongly hated was these noodles with a bunch of disgusting vegetables around it. It was mostly the vegetables that I hated and some of the soups. The restaurant served plate by plate (to give us new food after we've finished the first, and so forth). Only thing I liked was the chicken cuz it tasted American lol.

I've never tried cambodian food, but the thing I dislike about thai food is that they use to much coconut sauce.

I never tried cambodian food before. I tried thai and it was okay. I prefer vietnamese, korean or japanese food.

I like Thai food. Especially the yellow curry and their fried rice. o_o

You're probably just not accustomed to the palate of cambodian and thai food or maybe you just ate the wrong foods. I mean I like American food, but I dislike the taste and smell of potato salad and baked beans. And those are the types of food that are usually served at a bbq, a picnic, or whatnot.


Although, I do know that there's some cambodian food that tastes kinda funky and that I would never eat again.

Maybe the restaurant that you went too the food wasn't cooked by thai/combodian people. Some of my friends went to this chinese restaurant that was managed by mexican people and they said everything kinda tasted like spanish rice.

maybe it's because you had it in the US. duh. it's a general consensus that all non-"american" food in the US sucks.

Thai food's alright, it really depends on what you order, there's plenty things I like and hate. I've never had Cambodian food though.
