nahh. my mom would kill me. but i was just curious because everyone that i've talked to said they didn't feel it, which is hard to belive, even if they do hit the sweet spot. so i was just wondering.

It probably won't be too bad.
My friend has like, a million piercings in various places, and she rated it as one of the less painful ones.
But yeah, good for you. I want my lip pierced...

I'm scared to ask...what/where is the septum?

^It's in your nose!
I would get it pierced, but it can get infected easily.

oooh haha thanks Torie
well, i wouldn't get it pierced, because i don't think it would look good on me at all. and i dont think it would hurt all that bad, either

i'd have to say that my septum piercing hurt.... kinda like pulling a nose hair out or popping a zit on the inside of your nose.
it's obvious, and it's painful for that moment, but the aftermath of it isn't too bad. it will automatically make your eyes water (which is not just a personal experience, but what my brother, the piercer, has confirmed) but it doesn't necessarily mean it's painful.
the healing process was really quite easy. i got mine pierced 14G with a retainer instead of any kind of hoop, which also allowed it to heal straight. the pain of it kind of felt like somebody had smacked my nose really hard and it was sore.
after about 2 weeks, it was fine, no problems.
my suggestion.. if you're contemplating getting it done.. wear a fakie for about 2 weeks. around the house, out in public, whatever.. just so you can get a feel for it and see if you like it or not.
it really sucks going through paying money and getting it pierced (anything for that matter) only to find out that ... well... it just doesn't work for ya.
