You guys can get less rude layout accepters who reply to PMs within a month of accepting them. I submitted a layout and it didn't get approved, so I PMed the guy who unapproved it. No reply, After like a month. Some asian kid.

Sorry about that. You should of recieved a letter for the reason why it wasn't accepted. Can you tell me the name of the layout (since I can see your rejected layouts) and I can if you want , well after I see it, see if there is any reason why it should be rejected and then tell you them. If it ok then I'll tell you to just resubmit and it will be fine.

Sorry about that. In the future, this shouldn't happen, if it does feel free to PM anyone on design/head staff and maybe an admin and I'm pretty sure they'll be happy to give you the feedback you need.

Aww it is cute. Maybe it wasn't accepted because the link to your website is everywhere. That layout almost looks like it was created for the sole purpose of advertising the website.

I don't think it's acceptable that your PM be ignored like that though. But just because one person is rude doesn't mean all the admin is rude.

who cares? just because they didnt respond to your pm doesnt make them rude. it makes them busy. this site has gone through a complete overhaul in the last two months. i dont think the mods and admins can be judged on their timeliness.

that layout sucks anyway. i couldve put that together in 5 minutes with one hand tied behind my back and no mouse

about 2 weeks ago i had some girl reject over 20 graphics on mine. (i got it taken care of)... but she didn't give a reason on most of them... and on the ones she did give a reason it was the same reason just copied and pasted. it's really stupid.

so i was instructed to re-submit them and most got accepted. and the ones that didn't, i got a REAL reason why.

that one girl should be demoted. (in my opinion)

I used to be on MySpace staff, and personally I would not have approved that layout. It's pretty horrible in graphic quality in my opinion.

Some mods have different standards than others. Maybe you should just calm down. I dont think it's required of the mods to PM you for EVERY layout that they reject from one person, especially if it's 20 at a time.

I dont think they are required to be entirely specific on what their reasons are either. I think its more of a general sense of what you may have done wrong. They shouldnt have to hold your hand.

One general answer is fine, in my opinion. Because if they rejected 20 of them at once, from the same person, it is probably all for the same general reason.

But they should be able to tell you in batch. They shouldn't have to derive an individual reason for each one if they all have the same issues.

And this may seem like I'm going all power trippy, but demotion? While I understand that you may feel jipped from not getting twenty individual responses, the queue is huge, in order for efficiency, sometimes the mods can't explain every little detail.

Exactly. If you look right now, there are 76 graphics in the que. A mod really cant spend all their time giving you a specific reason to for every graphic that was rejected.

people get drawn to cB initatially because of layouts and graphics. if you don't have a variety people will stop coming.

so the people who do layouts and graphics should get some credit and respect. otherwise people will stop sending in and cB will eventually come to a hault.

you need to show some respect to the people who spend a lot of their time doing things to HELP OUT CB.

I'm serious. Don't be talking about "wasting your time on one person"... because a lot of people on here use up there time to contribute to cB.

i don't think they come to get skill for artistic ability (well some do) but i think a lot of people come here to get layouts for their sites.

cB isn't going to fizzle out because some mods with high standards and no time to coddle you cant afford to waste the time to go through all 20 of your shitty submissions and tell you exactly what's wrong with each and every one of them. there are plenty of other Good contributors.

if you don't like it, then don't submit them. the world will be better for not having to look at your crappy excuse for a design and the mods will save a lot of time not having to reject them and PM you.

Something that should be taken into consideration is that mods get a lot of PMs, but that shouldn't be an excuse for not getting back to you. If you've waited a month, why haven't you PMed that person? There's other Design Staff/Head Staff/Admins that you could've PMed if the person who rejected the layout didn't reply to your PMs.
