When I was like 13 and 14, Mudd was a really popular brand. Those were probably my favorite brand and still are. I don't see them around that much anymore. That makes me sad. Although... I have gotten rather attached to Hydrolic. Some of those are cute and comfy too. But anyway... What ever did happen to Mudd Jeans?
voguelove
mudd was my favorite then, too.

but i dont wear them anymore.
PINKLollyPOP
i use to wear mudd all the time. but i think they are going out.
xtwitchyx

Yes, I am a Mudd wearer. I really wish they weren't going away. Lol.

Got any ideas on what other brands I can get attached too?
PINKLollyPOP
hmm... i honestly don't know. maybe try american eagle. i just got a pair from them this weekend for the first time and i really really like the way they fit and they are a decent price range... i paid like 30 something dollars for them. :) cute cute!
xtwitchyx
I'll have the look there the next time I go stay in the city at my sisters house.

The only store around this area is a Penny's, Yonkers, and a Vanity. I love Vanity.

I used to like them a lot when I was younger. I remember my mom used to give away clothing that didn't fit me anymore, and she was about to give away my mudd jeans. I threw a fit about her giving away the jeans even if they didn't fit me anymore. I don't even know what happened to the jeans anymore.
xtwitchyx
I would of thrown a fit too. Lol.
BOOGERSHAHA
i liked lei!

there's express, abercrombie, american eagle, levis, etc. and also premium denim if you're willing to shell out around 100+ for a pair - seven for all mankind, rock and republic, true religion, etc.
PINKLollyPOP
i would have thrown a fit as well...

i live in a little town too that doesn't have any place to shop. the closest mall is about 2 hours away. sucks not being able to shop whenever i want!
xtwitchyx
Yeah, I'm lucky if I get to shop once a month.
PINKLollyPOP
oh i know. doesn't it suck. this past weekend i was having withdraws so i left for the weekend and went to the mall... stayed in a hotel and got a lot of shopping done. it was fun to have a "me" day!
xtwitchyx
I would love to have a "me" day. That would be so nice. Hopefully someday I can get one.

I remember mudd when I was younger too. I use to have the purses and some clothes by them.
PINKLollyPOP
^^ it really really sucks that there is no place around here. i want to move to a big city. but yeah. i'm scared! haha
hollywoodpink
i never really liked mudd because they usually had that icky, flowery embroidery or rhinestones or something.

yuck. the only decoration i want on my jeans are rips, thanks. x)
PINKLollyPOP
lol. ripped now is cool.
but back in middle school.
i was all about the designs.
haha :) hehe.gif
hollywoodpink
^ haha, yeah i know. i never really caught onto it, though.
i preferred the simple kind. i left the fancy designs for my bobby jack t-shirts. x) oh dearrr, 6th grade fashion. *shakes head*

^^I seen people with ripped jeans and they look old and it look like they had their jeans for years but I found out last year you can buy them that way.
demolished
Haha. poor girl ^

The only time that I ever remember people wearing Mudd was when I was like 7 years old...

Mudd hasn't been the only brand to do that though. Actually, I honestly don't think I have ever seen a pair of Mudd jeans with that embroidered crap on it. I've seen other brands with that stuff on them, but never Mudd. Maybe my area never got those. I don't know.
misoshiru
hopefully. they used to be cool back then, but not anymore imo. maybe you can find some online.

I remember how cool it was to have Mudd jeans when i was in 6th & 7th grade. I think I had one pair and wore them as often as i could...i haven't seen them around here for a long time, they must be phasing out. AE jeans are my new favorite!
Just_Dream
Ahh yes, Mudd Jeans. This was way back when I used to shop at Mervyn's, since it was so close to my house.

Anyway, I oly owned 1 pair of Mudd jeans, and they fit me really well, back then.. :P Too bad there was a hole in te crotch area and I decided to throw those jeans away. I kind of miss them. Mudd was pretty popular back when I was 13-14 years old (that's 5-6 years ago), since everyone at my school would wear anchor blue jeans, mudd jeans, dickies, or something similar. Plus, the jeans were pretty cheap (Only $30 or less), so yea. :D
SinfullySweet
I never really liked them. For where I lived, they were wayyyyy too overrated. Plus, I didnt really like the designs.
davinci
I loved Mudd clothing back in the day! I still have a few pairs of jeans but I only regularly wear one pair because they fit me well. I don't care too much on whether or not they're 'in' right now.
ashxx69xbaby
mudd wen i was in junior high was like aeropostale, american eagle, hollister etc. i got other jeans that fit me way better and are a lil more expenisive. but i havent seen any around.
Lolitakitty
Lol, I used to wear mudd jeans in 5th or 6th grade. Overtime I lost interest, as many of us do whistling.gif
