Do you use bar soaps or shower gels?
I prefer bar soaps because I've basically used it all my life. But I know a lot of shower gels that smell good

i use bar soap but supposedly body wash is better for your skin. it has embollients? or something that doesn't leave a residue (unlike bar soaps) and is much more moisturizing.
i'm switching to body wash when i get to college just for the convience. i'll see if there's any diffence.

I've been using shower gels lately, but I grew up using bar soap, too. Shower gels have different scents but bar soap just smells nice and fresh.

I prefer bar soap over body wash...I think body wash is a pain in the butt. And I don't like my body cleansers to be overly scented, anyway, which body wash usually is. So bar soap for me.

Shower gel. More variety, bubbles more, lasts longer, doesn't slip and fall on your toes.

I hated bar soap. It makes my skin so...rough.
Shower gels are way better, they moisturize my skin.

i use body wash because bars of soap just dry out my skin. bath and body works have very nice smelling ones.

Exactly. While it'd be easier, not to mention cheaper, to use bar soap, most dry out my skin.

Shower gel b/c it moisturizes my skin more than bar soaps do. I do like the feel of a bar of soap rubbing over my skin, though. :P

I should be using bar soap, because I have very sensitive skin. Body wash makes me break out a little bit... but oh well. It smells better.

Shower gels/Body wash because it doesn't leave my skin rough/dry after every use - unlike bar soap. Plus this way I get to use my sponges

I use dove body wash sometimes and bar soap sometimes. It really depends on which one I run into on my bathroom counter first.

Shower gels. I feel like the bar is just left there to get hairy and grow bacteria. Much like a toothbrush that isn't dipped in mouthwash before you brush, you know?
Plus shower gels make me feel soft as apposed to my skin feeling like it sticks together when it's wet.

I prefer shower gels. For some reason, my bars of soap always end up breaking... I don't understand it. Plus, I share a shower with my brother... and I just hate the idea of using the same soap he used on himself... gross. If I use the bottle gel on the other hand, I'm not really using the same soap that he used.

I use both soap and shower gel, but I prefer shower gel over soap because of the way it smells and the way it feels on my skin.

Well,, I have both shower gels and bars of soap.
I personally think that the bars of soap sub up better and I feel like it cleans me better than shower gels.
Shower gels are the bomb though. It's such a great and wonderful smell while you're in the shower and after a bit it does sud up,, but I also get conseious (sp???) of running out and it makes me sad.

I have both bar soaps and shower gel, but I usually use the bar soap because I don't like using those poofy things that you're supposed to use with shower gels. The shower gel does smell better, though.
