What is BITTEN?
BITTEN is the first-ever apparel line launched by actress and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker, sold exclusively at Steve & Barry's stores nationwide. Sarah Jessica, along with a team of Steve & Barry's designers, created a collection of high quality, affordable sportswear for women of all ages and sizes. Every piece in the line is priced at $19.98 and less, an extraordinary value for the quality and breadth of the merchandise offered. As Sarah Jessica says, "Fashion is not a luxury, it's a right."

The formal name of the brand is "BITTEN Sarah Jessica Parker."

BITTEN marks Steve & Barry's true foray into the women's apparel market. The company has been long known as a great place to shop for men's casual clothes.

Can you describe the collection?
BITTEN reflects Sarah Jessica Parker's personal sense of style and taste, with her own wardrobe serving as the inspiration for the majority of the pieces. Between the recently launched summer collection and the Fall collection to hit store shelves in August, BITTEN offers nearly 1,000 apparel and accessories pieces, including jeans, woven and knit shirts, suit separates, wool and cashmere sweaters, dresses, jackets, lingerie, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sleepwear, swimwear, bags, jewelry, belts, footwear, and much more.

The BITTEN collection was designed for women of all ages and sizes, with a full size range from XS-XXL in tops, 0-22 in bottoms, and 5-11 in shoes.

Has anyone else heard of her new line? At first, I was skeptical of how the line would turn out because it was at a really affordable, mostly sportswear clothing store and too many celebrities are coming out with their own labels. But, looking at the previews, http://www.bittensjp.com/collection.php, I think the label will be worth a look.

Has anyone seen the clothes in real life? How are they?

Btw, I hope this didn't come off as an advertisment. I just wanted to talk about the new clothes.

I am definitely going to go check it out, there is a Steve & Barrys like 15 minutes from my house and some of those clothes are pretty cute. Plus, all under $20, totally fits my college student budget.

i went on the website and the stuff is very american apparel crossed with h&m crossed with gap. i expected it to be old lady stuff, i dunno why, sarah jessica parker is no old lady. or doesn't look like one, at least.

but what the heck is steve & barry's?? okay, so i know what it is, but i've NEVER heard of them before/never seen one before.

There's a store at a mall close to where I live, but I haven't checked it out yet. _smile.gif I need to check it out to see the quality though, but the price is definitely good for me! I think it is even cheaper than Forever 21.

Srsly. I've never even heard of Steve and Barry's until now, and I've looked it up and the nearest one is like five hours away. sad.gif

The line's name is weird, but the clothes are awesome, especially the price.

Ehhh... It's not that phenomenal, really. I have a Steve & Barry's 15 minutes away and another one about 30 minutes away. There's nothing special about the clothes except the price, really.

Something about Sarah Jessica Parker really bothers me.. I can't quite pinpoint it. She's just so incredibly unattractive to me...
bitesnkisses
woa, I just to check it out.. pretty cute clothes and good price...

They look really nice on the computer screen, yep. I went to check it out when it first came out, nothing special. Cheap price for horrible clothing. thumbsup.gif
letsgoxdisco
nevermind.

Wow it actually looks really good. I like that double grey dress especially. Too bad there's no Steve and Barry's around here. I've never even heard of them huh.gif

Most of the clothing is too simple/boring for my taste, but I saw a few cute things. The prices are really good, though. The closest store is the one in San Fransisco that should be opening soon. I'd probably buy a few things thumbsup.gif

Amanda Bynes has a line there now, too. It's called 'Dear.' They look kinda similar. blink.gif

I've never heard of the store before but I like Sarah Jessica Parker. Cheap prices as well. I might take a look.

I don't understand why some celebrities make a fashion line and put it in stores that not a lot of people have heard of. It's unfair. stubborn.gif

I saw the collection on Oprah and on the website. I love it. It's definitely my style and the price is definitely perfect.
Rachel
Mandy Moore has her own line too. It's somewhat moderately priced, but I'd still never pay $30 for a shirt.
