There is someone on my tracker that I didnt insert their picture nor myspace page, but yet its there... does that mean if I click on their page threw my tracker, does that mean they can track me too?? ~Waits Patiently, shallow tears mellow.gif ~

i believe this is in relation to what you're saying...

the person that viewed your page has their own tracker. they had gone through and identified their own ip to their account (be it on xanga, myspace, whatever) and from there, their picture from the specific site is generated to be their picture on their ip page. example: thomasc had visited my page sometime. he had gone through and identified his ip probably through myspace. he picked the site he was using and then typed in his username. the tracker then uses his myspace picture on his ip page that you can get to from clicking their name.

i tried to be as detailed as i could, but if you're lost p/m me. if this isn't what you're talking about (though i think it is), that's fine.

so If i didnt have it checked before v2 I have to go check it and put in the new code?

to be honest, i don't know what the hijacking thing does.

nono.

if an ip is identified, that ip will display the identified page for all sites being tracked by our tracker. for example, userA has ip 127.0.0.1 and visits userB's myspace. userB identifies userA's ip with userA's myspace site. userA then visits userC's myspace. on userC's tracker logs, userA's ip will already be identified. hope im making sense.

as for the anti-hijacking option - this is to prevent other people from "stealing" your tracker code and putting it on their site, which will clog up your tracker page with hits going to their page. in the past, people hijacked my tracker code in an attempt to divert traffic to their sites, so i added this option as a security measure. for most users however, you will probably not gain anything from this option except for the peace of mind that all the traffic logged in your tracker page is indeed coming from your site. =)
