I'm new to wordpress and I'm having trouble figuring out how to get my page links (example:wordpress/?page_id=10) )to show up in the main content (blog) area when you click the links instead of them opening up in a seperate window. Is there some type of code or something I'm doign wrong?
tripvertigo
change the target to self.

Hmmm thanks bunches, but the target="self" was not working work for me though. I've been sitting here all day trying to figur this out. I have php subpages (aboutme.php, stuff.php etc.)that I'm trying to get into the main content area in wordpress to replace the blog when you click it. mellow.gif Then I tried going into wordpress and creating pages for each of them instead, but the css and codes wouldnt show up and still they were coming up in a seperate window.

Is there just some kind of way ..any kind of way..to get the php subpages into a page id on my wordpress account or to link the php subpages directly into the main content area without them comin up in a seperate window?

Thankx
queen
can you link us to your blog. it's easier for us to figure it out with your coding. are you sure you edited your "page.php" so it basically mirrors your "index.php" ?
tripvertigo
did you skin your wordpress so it dynamically displays the layout on each page using a header/footer/sidebar?

I figured it out. I just copied and pasted each of my php subpages into their own page in wordpress. Thats the best that I can do.
Thanks for your help biggrin.gif

im going to close this (sorry kara). that's pretty much all you -can- do short of including the header and footer of your template files in each individual page and linking them.

pm me if you need this opened.
