Have you ever been disapointed about a sequel? Or even a book? For instance you wait forever for it to come out and it turns out to be a dud.

For me I waited MONTHS for Lean Mean 13 to Come out and I finish it today and I'm having one of those [ithis is it?[/i] moments. This is depressing.

AARRRGGHHH!!! mad.gif I HATE that feeling!!

I read a book called Mrs. DeWinter and it was the sequel to my favorite book Rebecca. But...the ending was horrible!! I spent the whole day reading it and saying "It'll get better. Just wait..." and it never did... sad.gif

I think I've pretty much always loved sequels. I didn't like the fourth Au Pair book, though. de la Cruz tried too hard to be like GG, which pissed me off.

yes that's happened to me before. or when you think you have the whole book figured out & the ending just twists & just sucks! ugh the worst.

The final A Series of Unfortunate Events novel was a big disappointment for me. I expected a lot of...well, closure, I guess. There were so many loose ties, and subplots that were just left alone. I am excited but wary about the final Harry Potter book.

I hope the Harry Potter final isn't a disapointment

I don't read HP but It better not be. I don't want to constantly hear abou tit being crappy. Its going to be talked about FOREVER.

The A series of unfortunate events I heard it was a disapointment too. I haven't kept up with those but the movie was a BIG disapointment to me.

^ For the record, I am not even going near a television or a computer when Harry Potter comes out, because the last time I did (I was on createBlog), Jason, the idiot, posted a topic and the title was the huge spoiler from the 6th book. PISSED ME OFF.

Anyway. Yeah I've been disappointed, but most of the time when I read books, I'm already aware of their sequels or any other books from the series, so I'm not really anticipating the sequels' arrival or anything. I've read all the books in the Shopaholic series, and I have to say that they jumped the shark when Becky discovered her long-lost sister. I mean...come on.
