okay well the left side of my upper back has been hurting me all day
then i felt my back and there was a lump about the size of a pea or something.
it doesnt hurt if i push on it,
but i am still a little worried of what it may be from
any ideas??
laxumaster8
maybe a bulging disc? well, i dont really know so...
nishikigoi
I don't think discs are that small, but I dunno. Maybe it's a pimple or cyst.

wait a while and see. i'd give it a week. if it still hurts, go to the doctor and get it checked.
falsetigerlimbs
lol I vote zit.
a huge one.
towntown2
Maybe a fatty buildup?
Cause I had one of those in my armpit, and my mom said it's just a fatty buildup cause she gets them, too.
EmoEyelinerx
Its probably a pimple or a cyst.
xKatt
It sounds like a pimple or a zit. If it gets bigger, turns different colors or causes anymore pain, I'd suggest going to a dermatologist or physician.

Pinched nerve... have someone give you a firm massage on that whole upper left side of your back. Try to sleep more symmetrical... don't sleep on your pillow (only your head should be on your pillow) you wanna lay down on a flat surface when you sleep. If you're always workin at a desk, take 2-5 minute break every hour or so to stretch, make sure to rotate your head (bending at the neck 360 degrees)

Maybe it's a mode or something. I would go see a doctor if I was you

my mom has a fatty tumor in the same place you described. they're benign, but you can have them removed.

It could be a wart :0
