I need to do a speech on demonstrating something...but I have no idea what to do. If you were in my position, what would you do?

I really, really, really, wanted to say suicide. But I promised to be nice.

Do you have any hobbies or talents? Talk about something you know a lot about and you'll be a lot more comfortable when doing it.

Is this for speech class*?

I think the most popular / easiest ones are usually origami, personal sports, or drawing something step-by-step.

Do you know origami? That's always fun. But a speech about it may not be the best idea...

Anywho, if your going to do a speech on a DIY do it on something you REALLY know about very well because you don't want to get confused in the middle or mess up.

In fifth grade my teacher was explaining How-To speeches, and she used...making a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich.

That's probably not what you're looking for, but hey it's an idea. Hmm, like others said, something you know alot about. An easy origami one would be nice. I'd suggest an inflatable box. those are fun to make and easy once you get the hang of it.

The DIY Network has great ideas, too. Jewelry could be easy. There's a lot on there, though.

Yeah...I really don't have any hobbies but making layouts and graphics (and making lyrics and songs)
...but I wouldn't be able to do it b/c the stupid school I'm going to for my summer school class has no computers! AH! It's insane!

So I guess I'll make jewlery from those boxes that have everything in it because I did make a necklace once before (http://i16.tinypic.com/300xqwh.png)
and that came out okay. lol
