I use AIM 6 and every time I open up someone's buddy info, an extremely annoying noise (perhaps sounds like a bubble popping?) is heard. I have been trying to get rid of it and I even tried contacting AIM but no answers ever came. Does anyone else have this issue / know how to resolve it? I have a feeling it might be a popup blocker of some sort making the noise but I'm not sure...

Sounds like your AIM is possessed.

I don't know, I've always heard all sorts of problems with these new versions of AIM. Though, I don't even use AIM myself.

Disable sounds, in your settings.

I know there's a lot of problems. but it worked fine when i installed the very first time. I even took it out and reinstalled it awhile ago but the noise still kept coming..
