i have an Eyetoy USB camera for playstation2.
& i was trying to hook it up to my computer to use it as a webcam.
the usb fits but it still doesn't work.
i read that you can make it work on my pc by a driver.
can anyone tell me what I need to do or what steps to take?

Just search in google or something for a Windows Eyetoy Driver. You get it then install it, then your computer will recognize it when you plug it in to the USB port.

Buy it on eBay, it'll be much cheaper.

It doesnt actually.. not in my opnion anyway, I think its great. Better than my other "actual" webcam anyway.

Only disadvantage to having it as a webcam I find is is not being able to take photos indiviudally like most webcams can...well, [printscreen] button works.. but lol. Also, I used to think it only worked while you were actually having a msn/yahoo/whatever webcam conversation with somebody- but if you look around in the folder of... 'filethings' you have to download, you'll find you can run it while your not in a actual conversation with someone. Most webcams do that naturally/already but the eyetoy doesnt have a actual "program" that comes to install it with.. so yup. Works for me.

Ah yes, this is what I followed. Goodluck :)
