i have an Eyetoy USB camera for playstation2. & i was trying to hook it up to my computer to use it as a webcam. the usb fits but it still doesn't work. i read that you can make it work on my pc by a driver. can anyone tell me what I need to do or what steps to take? please help!

Just search in google or something for a Windows Eyetoy Driver. You get it then install it, then your computer will recognize it when you plug it in to the USB port.

I use mine as a webcam xD Lol, saves buying one... Cheap, I know. I know I have a few files installed and sitting in my C drive to make it work... I just googled it and downloaded a few things it needed to work. I wouldnt remember what site though, I did it aaages ago...

It doesnt actually.. not in my opnion anyway, I think its great. Better than my other "actual" webcam anyway.
Only disadvantage to having it as a webcam I find is is not being able to take photos indiviudally like most webcams can...well, [printscreen] button works.. but lol. Also, I used to think it only worked while you were actually having a msn/yahoo/whatever webcam conversation with somebody- but if you look around in the folder of... 'filethings' you have to download, you'll find you can run it while your not in a actual conversation with someone. Most webcams do that naturally/already but the eyetoy doesnt have a actual "program" that comes to install it with.. so yup. Works for me.
