okay, im asian. except, my skin is pale.
over the years, my skin has adapted and over the years, the tan ive gotten over the summer has pretty much..permanently made me dark. year round.
does anyone know of any sunblocks that could prevent me from getting tan?
literally, i use SPF 75 and it's supposedly the "good stuff," too. but im still getting dark and i hate it...

well, if im at the pool, maybe 3-5 hours. but im always putting on more sunblock.
or if were running for cross country, then its 3 hours. but its like, early in the morning. and i use sports sunblock for that, too.

Haha wear very light clothing that covers maybe? *shrug* I don't have that kind of problem. I'm wanting a tan but never really get around to it haha.

I'll take your tan! Spend less time outdoors if that helps.

Well, if you naturally get dark easily, I don't think sunblock will cut it. I know it doesn't for me. Try using a visor or a hat to cover you.

two options:
1. dont go out as much when the sun is at its strongest
2. cover up more skin

damn, you're trying to get paler & i'm just trying to get darker!
i agree with everyone above. just don't go outside when the suns at it's hottest point which is usually around 1pm-4pm or cover up more. try and stay in the shade, perhaps under an umbrella or something.

Just SPF? Find a proper product with board spectrum, UVA & UVB rays defense, SPF, skin whitening ingredients, and antioxidants (vitamin c, e and aloe Vera would be nice) to repair skin damages & strengthen the skin.
Some sort of fruity acid would help too especially to strengthen deeper skin cellular level!

Sunscreen doesn't help keep your skin pale/its current color. It just helps prevent sunburns and skin damage.

There is a combination of sunscreen, sunblock, and moisturizer as one.

Honestly, I can't think of a solution to your problem, seeing as how much time you spend outside.
Sigh. I need to tan.

Sunscreen only protects against certain types of rays. Find one that is all-encompassing.
