So, what are your thoughts on the movie so far?

Sorry if there's already a topic on this.

I always thought in my head that Voldemort must look real messed up while reading the books.
The movies made this a reality.

Book 5 was the book that I stopped reading Harry Potter at. I need to go back and read these.

The Harry Potter story just keeps going... and going...

I actually only seen the first one. It came out when I was in like 6th grade and we were the first people in Wisconsin to see it, because our teachers took the whole grade to the theatre. I remember when we were on the news and stuff.

Ditto. I never finished Book 5, but I read Book 6.
I think I should read the fifth one before I see the movie, but I don't have the time.
Anyways, I definitely want to see the movie. I love the harry Potter books and movies! the next movie seems awesome, and I need to find out everything that I skipped. Ahah.

i hated book 5 soo much after i read it because
something happens to so and so. i don`t want to spoil it
for those that haven`t already read it.

Aww. Harry Potter is getting more violent each movie. Voldermort scares me in every way.

The boys got a haircut ah well, it suits them. I hope it's as good as the book--I read it just so that I could finally compare to the movie. It was good. I can't wait!

But I liked the third one! The special effects were cool.

I think this movie's special effects are gonna be even more awesome.
But I pretty much forgot what book 5 was about (except for the important stuff, of course) so I'm gonna have to reread it.

^ditto except the part about book 5 i read up to the 4th one i have to get back to reading them too. i can't wait i just watched the 4th one again for the like 7th time haha =D

I love Neville but I don't like his look for this movie. Guess if he's growing and becoming more spontaneous, he'll have to look different.

The third movie had its faults but I enjoyed. Better than the first two.

Yes, my boyfriend got a haircut. Better than from the fourth movie, but not better than the third.

SO YESSSS. it's COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not looking forward to the damn kiss, but I'll tolerate it, since I know what happens to those two later on.

Wow, you're really after him, aren't ya? Oh ho ho, yes! I loved his hair in the third movie. Muy sexy.

Another scene I cannot wait for is when Harry dips into Snape's pensieve and goes back to when James, Sirius, Lupin, Wormtail, and Snape all went to Hogwarts together. Especially that werewolf question on the exam. If you don't know what I'm talking about, shame on you! It's a hilarious scene in the book.

I dont like Harry Potter I thought it was all boring but I sorta like the first one though.

Haha I loved how Wormtail was too stupid to remember what the symptoms of a werewolf are, even if his best friend is one. Great scene.

I don't like Harry/Daniel's new haircut.

But I cannot WAIT for this movie. So many new characters. I hope Luna and Umbridge live up to expectation. I don't understand the release date, though. I mean, wouldn't it make more sense to release it on my birthday? I guess that scheduling conflictions got in the way *sigh*

But...no more Quidditch?

And as for the seventh book... GO JKR. WRITE YOUR HEART OUT. MAKE IT A MAY 3RD RELEASE. YOU CAN DO IT! *is asking for way too much*

My opinions:

- I thought that Luna Lovegood would look...geekier I guess. I always imagined her with glasses at least.
- The uniforms look better. Unless it was the same in the last movie. Haha.
- The Weasley twins got a haircut and it bugged me. Looked awkward.
- Harry's haircut isn't that bad as the twins' but it looks...weird too.

I'll post a picture of the Weasley twins' haircut when I find it.

Daniel radcliffe seems to have gotten better at acting, but his hair bugs me. I thought luna lovegood would be... thinner and more odd looking. umbridge is supposed to be blonde and super fat

They picked the PERFECT girl for Luna! Beautiful.

I loved the 6th book, and yes its was sad. I didnt cry personally but I know people who did

I didn't quite expect Luna to be that pretty, but eh. Beautiful characters are always good. =)

What exactly happens in this book? I like to read the books after I watch the movies so yeah...

eh i hate his new haircut also. same here, Luna & Umbridge are such key characters that i hope they didn't get messed up. I actually imagined Luna with black hair (dunno why) & much nerdier not so pretty. ha but i guess we'll have to wait and see. This was actually one of my favorite books, so much details. I'm just afraid that they are gunna cut a lot, because this book has so many details & stuff it should be a 3/4 hr movie. Even though something sad happens, i think it plays a key part in the rest of the books.

I've always wondered what Harry Potter sees in Cho Chang that makes him like her. She's so boring and her Scottish accent makes me sick.

I also wonder why Voldemort's nose is missing.

It wasn't said explicity in the book but I think it's because one of his horcruxes is Nagini, a snake. When Dumbledore went over Voldemort's life with Harry, he said that after leaving Hogwarts for a bit, he was no longer the handsome and shy-looking kid. He was said to have done evil things and he looked very different, probably as a result of his horcruxes.

i know that accent is annoying, plus she has to talk hella during this movie. I'm just hoping it sounds better & won't distract me during the movie.

I can't wait for that scene, too, and also for any Ron and Hermoine scenes. Ooooh la laaa, I can't wait until those two to get together. Except in the next one, stupid Lavender gets in the way.

And as for Luna, she's def. not what I had imagined, but if I think about it for a while, she fits well.

omg. im acutally waiting to see the scene where the "prophecy" is revealed; towards the end of the book. i just hope they don't leave out to many details because this movie has so many details that explain the previous four books and the rest

Yea, I agree on the part that Luna is really gorgeous.
Better than Cho, sadly.

I don't recall Luna necessarily being ugly, just very strange with huge glasses and noodle necklaces (is that right? It's been a while).

I don't think Cho is bad looking...until she speaks.

I forgot about that! I'm so looking forward to that scene as well. *can't contain glee* Her accent threw me off at first. I couldn't understand anything she said and had to rewind the scene. But she is pretty.
