My boyfriend went away for a little while about a week ago. I can't see or talk to him for at least two weeks. This morning I woke up and I was freaking out because I thought he had called and I missed it. I know he isn't going to call but I feel like I should be expecting a call. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to stop feeling like I'm going crazy?

A year? That's harsh. Just keep a phone w/ you @ all times then. When's he getting back? Just wait shit out? Does he have an email you can contact him with?

well does he have any access to a comp or something? why doesn't he have a phone? if there's no way of comunicating i would just chill out and take some time off to yourself. you're not going crazy, it's normal to feel helpless in this situation. but hey if there' no way of communicating (except if he calls) then you're just gonna have to stick it out. hey absence makes the heart grow fonder right?

Well, he's in this program [I don't know if anyone has heard of it], it's called Teen Challenge .... it's a rehab center and blah, well he can leave anytime he'd like, but I don't think that will happen because of his parents. He doesn't have access to a computer or a phone. I suppose he could write letters, but he doesn't like to. They won't let him have any contact with friends or family for two weeks because they're afraid he will want to come home. I do keep my phone on me all the time, I am just afraid that he will call me during school and I won't be able to answer.

I'm also afraid that when he comes back, he won't love me anymore.

Is all of this normal?

I guess it's normal if you get overly paranoid and don't trust your partner...I went to rehab and it only made me love my girlfriend more...those places are hell.

2 weeks? Wait it out. If you still don't hear anything, write him a letter. If he really cares for you he'll write back. It's a tough situation, but you gotta stick through it.

Yea^, I agree completely. Lol I feel the same way when im going out with someone. Like I think he called and I didnt know or something. I totally freak out. Sometimes I just try to pre-occupy myself and invite a frined over or go watch tv or something.
