A young woman from Orange County posed as a Stanford University freshman for months, living in two different dormitories with unsuspecting roommates until staff members discovered her charade this week, campus officials said Thursday.
The 18-year-old kept a low profile and was able to pull off the elaborate deception for almost an entire school year, slipping into her dorm room through an open window, relaxing in the dorm lounge and talking about tests she apparently never would take, students said.
They believe that she lived there because of her parents peer pressure. Doesn't that seem crazy! If you were appyling to a school and couldn't get in it, but told your parents that you did, would you? just to make them happy? just a lil' somthin. Here's the article

That's crazy, but like others said, how could they not have realized if she was staying in a dorm? Was everyone else in on it with her..?

That's amazing.

She pulled it off for so long! I don't think I'd be able to do that.

If she's smart enough to pull that off for sooo long, I'd think she should deserve to attend there lol.

That's crazy.

No but it said she was staying in people's dorm rooms. Like where others were actually living. How do you not notice someone else living in your room?
She was able to convince the two roomates (one for each room) that she was a student and to keep the window open because she didn't have a key.
And g'damn she's smart. Crazy, but smart.

yeah she lied and said there was a housing mixup with her own dorm and asked to live in another dorm with her new roommates.

No kidding. That's just insane, especially for that long...I wonder what would've happened if she hadn't been caught for awhile longer.
