Okay, I've never seen the first one, so I guess I don't really know why I'm making this topic. LOSAAAR.

But does anyone plan on seeing the second Hostel? I saw the commercial in German and I was like "Schweeeet". Do you think that someone who hasn't seen the first one can watch?

Dude. Hostel I was SO terrible; basically just gratuitous sex for the first half and then gratuitous violence for the second half. There wasn't much of a storyline, either. I thought it had looked really good from the trailer. Ugh. I more than likely won't watch the second one, but.. I do think that you can watch it (and have it make sense) without having seen the first one.

I have to disagree with all of you. I liked the movie yet it is true that half of the movie was mostly about sex. I watched this with my mom so it was really awkard. I'll be seeing the second one.

I liked it. There was more gory violence in that movie than any other movie I have seen.

I am definitely watching the second one.

I like scary/horror/thriller movies, but I cannot handle the extreme gore many people have told me Hostel 1 had. So... no, I'm not going to see the second one.

the only thing i liked in hostel was the gore. that`s it. the sex, wtf? lmao. that was.. weird. but the gore. yay.

i like the first one. there really wasnt a story but it was simple and i like the fact that i got scared and had my heart racing fast, thats all that matters.

i liked it. it was like the first one, i dunno this movie aint that much than the first one but i love the revenge at the end. i think thats what gets me liking this movie.

If you are sqeamish AT ALL DON'T FREAKING WATCH IT. If you like seeing blood & torture, go right ahead. I literally put my iPod on so I wouldn't have to hear the screaming and crying.

The ending story line was awesome; the actual ending, not so much. But srsly, this isn't a movie to learn from. No plot, no cool lines, nada.

My teacher got to see the movie with the director. It was like a sneak peak where only 50 out of all SF got to see it. She told me it was super good and pretty shocking. I saw it right when it came out and I loved it. It is better the first simply because the movie isn't filled with sex.
