some hondas suck...other don't. in north america we have ACURA a higher-class division of honda..nonetheless still a honda engine.
it seems like everyone is talking a civic...
civic is meant to be a cheap economy car...therefore it's BOUND to suck in speed, traction, suspension and just about everything besides gas.

really if you're not into cars...buy a civic you'll be happy...if you are into cars don't get one...you'll be disappointed

My mom has a 1991 Honda Accord, and it's still lasting her. She bought it when I was one. There hasn't been any complications.

I hate hondas with a passion. You come live on my island, Kauai. The "kids" here just love their rice rocket hondas. If you seen on Honda you've seen them all! Everyone modifies their Honda's the same. A huge b*ng shooter for an exhaust (dont forget the high pitch whining sound that comes with it), a APC intake, clear tail lights, tinted windows and sounds. That's all the mods they do and then all of a sudden the think they have sickest and fastest car on the island. Give me a break.

i drive a honda. an accord. it's basically stock, except for things the dealership put on it. It's 9 years old but runs very well. i don't think it's the fastest- but i like it, it gets me around nicely. so what's wrong with that?

AND. there is no timing belt to replace. there's a timing chain, and it needs to be inspected and the tensioners replaced.

PS how is it possible that a 2.2L H22a engine produces 200HP at the crank? where as your V8 only makes 250HP at the crank? so your telling me that the extra 4 cylinders that you have only makes 50 more HP? btw if you're too stupid too count, ill do the math for you, v8 = twice as many cylinders as the i4 in the H22a. Better yet theres a more exotic version of the H22a found in the Euro-R accord which pumps out 220HP. omg v8 =250 i4 = 220? WTF. Stock engines aside, aftermarket support is MUCH higher for imports than domestics. Slap on ITBS for the h22a, give it a turbo and changing the FRM in the h22a and your looking at 350-500 HP and it will still be more reliable than a brand new domestic out of the factory.

Toyota for good reliable cars. My friend mom has one and haven't had a problem out of it yet and I have one too and haven't had a problem out of it, you don't see a lot of them on the side of the road. Plus they're good on gas. That's why I really love them.
